A cinewhoop kit for smooth, usable footage
A cinewhoop is a ducted quad built for one job: flying close to things and coming home with footage you can use. The ducts are not only a safety feature — they are what lets you fly through a doorway, past a face, or under a bridge arch without the shot ending in an incident. That kind of movement is the whole reason to shoot FPV instead of putting a gimbal on a tripod.
The DarkStar25 runs DJI's O4 system, and for cinematic work the digital link earns its cost in a way it does not for racing. You are framing shots, judging your distance to a wall, and watching for a branch entering frame. Analog's grain hides all three. The recorded image is also usable straight off the goggles, which removes a step from the edit.
It is a 4S quad, so the charger and packs here are sized for 4S rather than the 1S gear a whoop takes. That is an easy thing to get wrong when shopping part by part, and an expensive one when the charger arrives and will not take the pack.
This is not the cheapest way into FPV and it is not pretending to be. If the number at the bottom of this page is more than you want to commit before you know you will stick with it, the beginner kit gets you flying for a fraction of it — and its radio and goggles carry over to this setup later.
Why this kit
Cinematic flying wants stability and smooth footage over raw speed — ducted props and a steady frame keep shots usable.

What's in the kit

GEPRC DarkStar25 O4 Wide CineWhoop Quadcopter
Stable flight characteristics with a crisp digital image for usable footage.

DJI Goggles N3
Still the best value in digital at this budget — the next step up more than doubles the price, and that money does more sitting in the quad.

RadioMaster Pocket Radio — ELRS 2.4GHz
Proper gimbals and a real screen, still small enough to travel with. The radio you keep when you replace the quad.

ToolKitRC M4AC 30W AC Balance Charger
A 1S whoop charger can't do 2S, and a 325W bench charger is absurd for packs this size — this plugs straight into the wall and sits where it should.

GEPRC Storm2.0 4S LiPo Battery × 3
A solid all-round 4S pack for keeping this quad flying.
