A 5-inch freestyle FPV kit with analog video
The 5-inch 6S quad is the standard freestyle machine, and it has been for years for good reason: enough power to go vertical from a standstill, enough mass to carry momentum through a line, and a parts ecosystem so large that anything you break is cheap and in stock somewhere. If you have watched an FPV freestyle video, you have almost certainly watched a 5-inch quad.
This is the analog version, and choosing it is not a downgrade so much as a different allocation. Analog costs roughly three hundred dollars less than the digital build of the same kit, has essentially no latency, and degrades gracefully — the picture gets noisy at the edge of range rather than freezing outright, which tells you to turn around while you still can. The trade is a grainier image and worse recorded footage.
One honest warning: a 5-inch quad is not a first quad. It is fast, heavy enough to do real damage, and unforgiving of the reflexes you have not built yet. If this would be your first FPV aircraft, start on a whoop and come back to this page in a month — you will keep the radio and goggles either way.
The charger here is a dual-channel unit because 6S packs are expensive and slow to fill, and the three packs listed are a starting set rather than a full session's worth.
